TGT Dalian Data Centre 1 (TGT DLDC1) of TGT YIDA Data Services (Dalian) Co., Ltd. (TGT Yida) was honored to receive the “2015-2016 Outstanding Data Centre Award” in the 6th China Data Centre Industry Conference (DCIC), organised by the China Data Centre Industry Development Alliance (CDCIDA), on 23 March 2016.
DCIC is one of the most influential data centre conferences in the industry, which is co-organised by the China Data Centre Industry Development Alliance (CDCIDA) and a renowned consultancy firm. CDCIDA is a national wide non-profit making organisation. It has been playing an exemplary role in the industry since its establishment. DCIC creates an international platform for different stakeholders of data centre industry to exchange ideas. The theme of the 6th China Data Centre Industry Conference was “Big Data – New Era, New Challenge”, aiming to share the latest achievements of data centre industry.
TGT DLDC1 got to the top among 96 nominees for the “2015-2016 Outstanding Data Centre Award”. CDCIDA has developed a complete judging standard, every nominee went through a strict selection process conducted by industry experts. TGT DLDC1, as a green and carrier-neutral data centre and cloud service provider, is proud to receive the ‘Oscar of the Data Centre Industry’ with its excellent performance of operation and management.
TGT Yida is the first company in China who uses recyclable materials – terracotta in building data center. Terracotta has excellent insulating properties and the ability to self-cleaning. As a green data centre, TGT DLDC1 was awarded the “LEED Gold Pre-Certification” in 2014. TGT DLDC1 as a world-class carrier-neutral data centre, can lead-in a number of operators and can tailor made solution for different customers. At the same time, TGT have established networked data centres in Hong Kong and the mainland, with total area of 90,000m2, TGT DLDC1 is one of the important sites in northeastern China.
The Award recognised the efforts and achievements of TGT DLDC1 for its cutting-edge infrastructure and operation. Under government’s development, industry trend and customer needs, green, carrier-neutral and cloud computing data centre is becoming the focal point of the ICT industry.
